What are the benefits of Purl English Cashmere?
Cashmere is luxurious, durable and a practical investment. Cashmere travels well and doesn’t crease. It offers great insulation; is warm in the winter and cool in the spring. Cashmere is long lasting; it actually becomes softer with age and rarely pills after being worn and washed. Treated well, cashmere should last a lifetime.
Why are some brands cheaper than our products?
Around 95% of the world’s cashmere comes from Mongolia. Most cashmere products found on the high street are made in China of Chinese-processed cashmere. Of course, we know these products are mass-produced and far less expensive. Here at Purl English, we use cashmere yarn that has been processed in Great Britain.
The difference between yarn processed in Great Britain and that processed in China can be quite obvious in terms of softness and longevity, the better quality yarn tends to use longer fibres and the processing tends to be of a superior nature with the dyes and processes being more refined. If investing in cashmere for babies, invest in the best as it will pay back dividends.
Will our Cashmere products stand up to heavy usage?

Does the colour of the Cashmere fade when washed?
No, If washed correctly, cashmere colours will not fade. Washing guidelines are included on each product page.
Does Purl English Cashmere shrink when washed?

PURCHASING OUR PURE CASHMERE PRODUCTS
What payment methods do you accept?
Purl English accept payment by Paypal. Payment by Debit and Credit card – Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa Electron, American Express and Direct Debit can also be processed through Paypal.
Select the “Pay by credit card/debit card” option when you are checking out.
The Production of order will only begin once payment has been processed. Please contact us by telephone or email, if you prefer to pay by cheque and we will send you our details.
All debit/credit card details or information will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
Can I add items to an existing order?

How do I sign up for the Purl English online store?
You can register for your personal account during your first order. In the section “my account” you can sign in any time with your email address and password to get an overview of your previous orders.
What do I do if I forget my password?
You can request a new password anytime. Just click the link “Forgot your password?” and we will send you an email with a new password immediately. In the section “my account”, you can change and personalise your password anytime. If you will not receive an email after requesting a new password, please check your junk mail folder.
You may edit your personal details by using the “Change” button next to your details.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
What method of delivery is used to fulfill my order?
We deliver worldwide to customers both national as well as international. Both national and international orders are sent via United Kingdom Royal Mail. The recipient being responsible for any duty and import charged in the relevant state or country.
Each shipping cost differs dependent on the individual country of delivery and the quantity of products ordered. For a complete list of shipping charges, please refer to our shipping rates found on the shop ‘Checkout’ page. If you can not find your country included within the shipping list then please Contact Us.
How long will it take to receive my Purl English products?
After your order has been processed we will endeavour to have the item knitted, finished and packaged within 1 week from receipt of order. Purl English will advise you as soon as the order has been dispatched.
UK Deliveries are expected to be received within 1 working day from date of dispatch and Will be sent using Royal Mail’s – Special Delivery Next Day service. A signature will be required upon receipt of your parcel.
Deliveries within the EU are expected to be received within 3 working days from date of dispatch and will be sent using the Royal Mail’s – AirSure Small Packets service. A signature will be required upon receipt of your parcel.
Deliveries to the rest of the world are expected to be received within 5 working days from date of dispatch and will be sent using the Royal Mail’s – AirSure Small Packets service. A signature will be required upon receipt of your parcel. (Please note that Import Duties may apply on receipt of the parcel, Purl English have no control over this and the customer is responsible for the charges.)
Any change to the above circumstances such as busy times of year for transit or availability of Cashmere, Purl English will advise you at the point of order.

What is the Purl English returns policy?
If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, we will be happy to exchange it for a more suitable replacement or to give you a refund, provided that; this is requested within 7 days of receiving your delivery and that the item is returned in its original, unused condition, with all tags attached.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and custom and bespoke orders are non-returnable without prior approval.
