CASHMERE FOR THE BRIDE

It is May, the sun is shining and the bells at our local church are ringing to herald a Summer filled with wonderful weddings. The Cotswolds are a well know destination for wedding parties, with a myriad of options available to suit all tastes. As a resident amongst this honeyed landscape, it is pure joy to catch a glimpse of the bride as she passes on her way to new beginnings.

There is an entire industry here devoted to helping the Bride-to-be make the right choices in the least stressful way. Wedding Fairs are held in beautiful surroundings, with bridal boutiques peppered through the local towns.

We, here at Purl English are now also able to offer a solution or two, we have over the last few months been developing a range of cashmere wraps and shawls for the special day. Using a clear neutral palette of “Swan” and “Stone”, we have developed two styles that will accessorise the bride beautifully. Design that is simple and elegant to enhance the bridal gown. We have used pure silk to trim the edges, adding a unique element and weighting the cashmere to add to it’s sense of luxury.
